Although when it snowed here over night it only meant one thing: FRESHIES. A boarder's dream-come-true.
I had a really crap day up the mountain on Saturday, not realizing that my new board's stance was about 10cm wider than my old one's, meaning I'd reverted to utter
| So. Much. Snow. |
As the snow is usually best all the way up top where there are no restaurants, we packed some sandwiches and snacks today so that we wouldn't have to come down for sustenance.

I usually don't feel like I get much of a workout boarding. But I swear, riding powder gets my heart rate up like no other. Not sure if it's fear or adrenaline though?! As long as I burn all those French chocolates, poulet rĂ´ti and baguette, I don't really care.
It's back to reality tomorrow and back to running by Wednesday, I hope! The knee has been holding up well enough so far [knock on wood] and luckily there's plenty of icing-opportunities 'round here (quick knee-dip in the snow?! No, I did not fall, I meant to do that!!!), so fingers crossed I can make up for all that lost time.
See you on the flipside!
Reading about your snowboarding makes me very very very very envious. It also makes me want to use words like dude, bro, sweet, sick, and peow peow. Coz I'm a boarder maaaaan.
