In other news, that Tabata class I was going to try on Saturday? Yeah, that didn't happen. It seems there was a mix up with the PR people and the gym and when I rocked up for the class, I was told that it would be held in the new studio. The new studio is 'only' down the road but with only ten minutes to go pre-class and me having walked to the gym, there was no hope for me making it in time. So I trudged back home, slightly disappointed as I had really been looking forward to a short but tough workout.
Having wanted and missed out on my workout, I decided that I'd do my very own Tabata workout at home. I downloaded a Tabata timer on my phone and proceeded to do push-up intervals, crunches, more push ups and plank holds. I can't pretend that I felt particularly virtuous afterwards, and baking these on the spur of the moment didn't help either.
Chocolate peanut-butter cookies. They are rather large and square but oh. so. good! Instead of working them off I went down to my CrossFit box to watch our in-house teams take on a competition WoD for the Dominance series. Obviously I wasn't near good enough to qualify, but it was fun enough to cheer everyone on and clearly I was the absolute hit for having brought my very own, home-made cheering signs. What can I say? I'm a crafty goddess...

And suddenly it's Monday morning again. Strange!
Hope everyone who raced yesterday did awesome. What did you get up to?
